MARY E. ADAMS Mayor of the Village of Babylon

Madame Mayor Mary Adams of Babylon Village has consented to the closure of N. Carll Avenue between Main Street and Carlston Place providing the Village of Babylon Historical and Preservation Society and the Babylon Village Art’s Council the convenience, and space needed to display the "Then and Now" exhibit professionally. In addition, the closure allows the Fire Department the freedom needed to display their trucks and participate by sharing their history with the community along with many other community organizations that are part of the Babylon Village History. Thank you, Madame Mayor, for bestowing the Committee Members peace of mind by providing a safe space for our event with consideration to the safety of our community members and visitors.

Our Mission

The mission of the Babylon Pilot Club, as well as Pilot International, is to influence positive change in our local community as well as in communities throughout the world. To do this, we come together in friendship and give people an outlet for service. We focus on encouraging brain safety and health and supporting those who care for others. The Pilot Club of Babylon is a community-based volunteer charitable organization that was founded in 1987. We are active in Babylon Village as well as in surrounding areas, promoting programs and projects to help improve the quality of life in our local communities. Pilot members share a common trait: the desire to help people in need and to make the world, starting at home, a better place. The Babylon Pilot Club is a member of Pilot International which was chartered in 1921 in Macon, Georgia. The name “Pilot” was inspired by riverboat pilots who represented leadership and guidance, and whose principals were and still are Friendship and Service. There are over 300 Pilot Clubs in the US, the Bahamas, Japan and South Africa. Who We Are

The Babylon Beautification Society is a non-profit organization founded in 1971. Our mission is to support projects and initiatives that contribute to the beauty of Babylon Village. We work closely with local government and community leaders as well as hundreds of volunteers to complete our mission. M ission S tatement The Babylon Beautification Society, "Annual Fair" is historically held on the Sunday after Labor Day, with a rain date occurring one week later. These are always the dates unless the Sunday after Labor Day is September 11, which is the case for 2022. Therefore, for 2022, our fair is held two weeks after Labor Day on Sunday, September 18 (with a rain date on Sunday, September 25, 2022).
